ADD-ON / TRANSFER APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED 24 HOURS

TO THE IET CENTER PRIOR TO SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME.

All applicants requiring unescorted access authority must complete the Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and Security Threat Assessment (STA) process as required by Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations 1542.209 and Transportation Security Administration Security Directive 1542.04.08F titled “Security Threat Assessment and Reporting Requirements Related to Individuals with Airport-Issued Identification Media” issued December 10, 2008. All applicants must provide 2 forms of government issued ID at the time of their appointment (one from list A OR one from list B AND list C) ID Requirement. A valid driver's license is required for driver training.

If the CHRC shows no disqualifying offenses, the applicant can proceed with the badging process. Philadelphia International Airport maintains the discretion to exceed the immediate 15 years when reviewing a CHRC. Your employer will be notified when you have cleared the CHRC/STA process.

Do not schedule a New Badge Appointment unless your employer has notified you that you are cleared for badging. The Security Office sends clearance notification emails to Authorized Signers on Saturdays.
